The Problem It Solves
Combat can technically work and still feel confusing.
Players need to know:
- Did I hit?
- Was it a crit?
- What damage type was it?
- How much HP does the enemy have left?
- Am I poisoned, stunned, shielded, bleeding, or burning?
- Which enemy matters most?
- Is the boss about to attack?
- Did the hit actually connect?

- Use the Godot Combat Readability Framework as the main drop-in layer.
- Use Floating Combat Text for damage, healing, crits, misses, blocks, XP, and status ticks.
- Use Enemy HP Bars and Boss Bar UI for target health clarity.
- Use Status Effect Timers for buffs, debuffs, stacks, and durations.
- Use Damage Type Readability for fire, poison, bleed, crit, shield, healing, and XP styles.
- Use Target Markers and Enemy Intent UI for priority and upcoming attacks.
- Use Hit Impact and VFX packs so attacks feel confirmed.
